Welcome to the Baburao Patil College of Arts & Science Library. We Try to satisfy information needs of library users at the maximum level. We are giving technology based facilities and services such as Internet facility, OPAC, Reference service through online database, e-books & e-journals,e-notice & bulletin,Book issue return through barcode scanner etc.

Baburao Patil College of Arts & Science, Angar established at 2001 having collection of 6686 books,10 National & International Journals & 10 Magazines, also college has subscribe N-List online database with e-books and e-journals. Library is situated at separate building 209.37 square Mts. area. Easily accessible for the student & staff. The Primary objective of the library is to provide access to print books, journals & e-resources facility to user.

Library is providing a e-resources with combination of printed books & Journals has a 550 of students and 35 of staff as library members. Library having digital section 10 computers of LG branded with 150 mbps net speed with data lease line.

The library provide a Inter Library Loan (ILL) membership of D.S.G.Mahavidyalaya Library, Mohol ; Arts & Commerce College Library, Madha ;Marutirao Harirao Mahadik Mahavidyalaya Library, Modnimb for better resource sharing. The library having well furnished reading hall with the 116 sitting capacity. Students should maintained complete silence in the hall and keep mobile on silent mode and also signed the register kept at the entrance counter before entering the reading hall.

Library respects all forms by which knowledge is communicated and users technology intelligently to argument services. It respects free access to knowledge library is the house of knowledge and knowledge is free at the library.

The college library of Baburao Patil College of Arts & Science, Angar was established in the year 2001.Since Library functions as a student oriented informatics center focusing on the data and informations as per the needs of the students and the faculty. The library has mode consistant progress in terms of college of Books, Periodicals, CDs, E-Resources services and infrastructure. We allow to students and staff open access through the stroke and stack having a simple subject wise arrangement classified by the DDC.

Various services facility to be provided by the library. OPAC, Reference, Online database E-books, E-journals, E-bulletin, Internet, Reprography & Repository also enter library room. Institutional membership like D.S.G.Mahavidyalaya Library, Mohol ; Arts & Commerce College Library, Madha ;Marutirao Harirao Mahadik Mahavidyalaya Library, Modnimb for better resource sharing.

Library is situated at the separate building is easily accessible for the students and staff.

On Working days- 08.00 a.m. To 5.00 p.m.
During Vacation- 08.00 a.m. To 5.00 p.m.
Exam Period- 08.00 a.m. To 5.00 p.m.

A library attached or associated with a college and used by teacher, students and staff of the college is known as college library. The objectives of college libraries are as discussed below.

• To provide resources necessary for research in the field of interest to the college.
• To help the teacher in keeping abreast of developments in his field
• To provide library facilities and services necessary for the success of all formal programmes of the institution.
• To open the door to the worldwide of books that lie beyond the borders of one’s own field of specialization.
• To bring books, students and scholars together under conditions, which encourage reading for pleasure, self-discovery, personal growth and sharpening of intellectual curiosity.

Library Instructions

• Show your Identity card whenever you visit the Library.
• Write your name in the register at the counter while entering in the library.
• This Borrower card is lost fresh Borrower Card will be issued on payment of Rs.50/-
• Library books issued only on his/her self-Library card.
• Library books will be issued only as per schedule.
• One book for two week only it can be renewed.
• Students should return their book in given time period.
• Book Bank only for SC & ST (First five in the class & the entire reservation students) selected and economically backward students.
• In case loss of books double price of the book lost will be recovered aspenalty.
• The loss of Borrower card should be immediately reported to the Librarian in writing.
• Take proper care of all library resources.
• Any personal belongings are not permitted into the library.
• Eatables are not allowed inside the library & reading hall.
• Silence to be maintained.
• Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited in the library.
• Suggestion Box is kept at the Library.Your objective and positive/healthy suggestion are welcome.
• Strict action will be taken for any misbehavior in the library.
• Students are not allowed to sit in the library during their lecture & practical hours.

Information Resource Centre Rules

• Information Resource Centre is to be used for academic purpose only.
• Online chatting in the Information Resource Center is not allowed.
• Browsing of dating,social networking sites is strictly prohibited.Strict disciplinary action will taken against the defaulters.
• Member must carry their College ID Card while using the information Resource Center.They must show their ID Card on demand.
• Playing Games on computer is strictly prohibited in the entire Library premises.
• Members must take care of their Pen drives,CD/DVD ROMS,Cell Phones and wallet etc.
• Every student will get 1 hours for the use of Internet.
• Do not save any material on PC.
• Printing/Downloading is allowed with prior permission of Librarian.
• Printing/Xeroxing will be provided on payment.

New Arrival Display:
Library information such as New Arrivals, Library Rules, Journal List, Notices, Newspaper Clipping, etc. are displayed on Library Notice Board From time to time.

OPAC:
Online Public Access Catalogue for book search and circulation facility provided to the students and staffs .

Library Reading Room:
Library total carpet area 209.37 Sq.mts. There are Staff, Boys & Girls Seprate reading room. Total seating capacity 120 students.

Scanner / Reprography Facility:
Scanner / Reprography Facility also available in the library.

Reference Services:
On demand reference service provided to the students and faculty members by using open source on internet and Sources Dictionaries, Encyclopedias , Handbook.

Newspaper Clippings:
Maintain Newspaper Clipping File for up-to-date record of information regarding new trend in Education.

Circulation:
Issue and Return of reading material such as Books ,Journals and Periodicals ,Multimedia etc.

Email Service:
On demand softcopy of Syllabus , Question Papers , College Magazines , etc. provided to the students and faculty members by using email or Internet.

Library related all information sent to this group. On demand softcopy of Topics,Question paper and important news sharing this group.

• SMART Card Scheme:- This Scheme allow to Scholar/ Mertious student.
• GOLD Card Scheme:- This scheme allow to Divyang Students only.
• Senior Citizen Card Scheme:- This Scheme allow to Interest to senior citizen.
• Book Bank Facility: Book bank facility with minimum deposit is provided to SC/ST & Economically backward students. Minimum 4 books are provided for the whole year to the selected students.
• Best Reader Award: The students & Staff who read most number of books and utilize resources and services at a maximum in the most effective manner. The awards are distributed in the Annual Day function every year.
