Baburao Patil College of Arts and Science, Angar was established in the year 2001 and It is two faculty college imparting education to the students of arts and science and it is only aided college in the science faculty in the vicinity of Mohol. The college provides quality educational services to the students of the vicinity. The college is named after late founder President Baburao (Anna) Patil. The college is started and run by Shri. Angarsiddha Shikshan Prasarak Mandal Angar.
“तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय” is the motto of the Sanstha. The college reflects the vision of the Sanstha.it is a distinguished degree college affiliated to the Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Solapur University, Solapur. The college is accredited with B grade by NAAC. The College is recognised under 2f and 12 B section of UGC Act also. It is Sheltered in huge well architecture premises along with beautiful natural campus, the college has a unique academic atmosphere chiefly characterized by interdisciplinary scholarly interaction and healthy competitive spirit and enthusiasm to excel in various curricular activities. Within a very short span of time the college has gained recognition for preparing and grooming the students at under-graduate level into academically meritorious students and professionally efficient scholars.
The highly qualified staff, well-equipped laboratories and well -stocked library in the college premises have yielded positive and encouraging results in enabling the students to excel in academics as well as extra-curricular activities.
